Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students pre‑K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments and works closely with local schools in Branch County to provide instructional services, hearing and vision services, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services. The department is devoted to the success of every student and seeks a team member committed to educating all learners while fostering positive attitudes and work habits.
The ideal candidate respects diversity, is highly motivated, and has a passion to work with students with disabilities.
The employee is accountable to the assigned teacher and supports students in their classroom based on their level of disability. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work; presenting a pleasant and professional demeanor; displaying a positive attitude and outgoing personality; maintaining confidentiality; and engaging in professional development when requested by the supervisor.
Hourly RateRange: $16.76–$20.34 contingent on years of experience.
