Nurse Practitioner; NP​/Physician Assistant; PA-C Per Diem

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in our Occupational Medicine Health Unit in Coldwater, Michigan. You will be joining a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers, certified medical assistants, and case managers to provide a comprehensive team approach of care to our client company’s employees.

Candidates will be expected to hold a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the state of Michigan, have good orthopedic skills, preferably at least two years’ experience and an understanding of occupational medicine, excellent and dynamic people skills, good communication skills, professional confidence, and be an independent thinker.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions
• DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals
• Suturing
• Medical screening
• Completing clinical notes
• Working closely with our Case Manager and worker’s compensation case management team

• Hours: Day shift (8:00am to 4:00pm)
