Technology Director; Range

Technology Director (Salary Range $116,100 to $125,300)

Our mission, at Branch ISD, is to ensure lifelong learning opportunities to students and citizens in our constituent districts. We will provide leadership in cooperation with other local, regional, and state educational service agencies, as well as the private sector, to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of high‑quality programs and services.

Salary Range: $116,100 to $125,300

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced degree preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, including systems administration, network/infrastructure management, data systems oversight, or related roles—preferably within a multi‑site or K–12 environment.
• Technical
  
  Competencies:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Chrome
    
    OS), servers, networking, wireless systems, telephony, and remote access technologies.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy, compliance (e.g., FERPA), and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
  • Working knowledge and implementation of Technology Operations Best Practices.
• Leadership & Management
  
  Skills:
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Additional
  
  Skills:
  • Experience with budgeting and procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple complex initiatives.
