Job Title
Performing various tasks to set up, operate, run production products, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
Position Responsibilities- Set-up and operate equipment/machinery to run production cycles.
- Controlling and adjusting machine settings (speed, feed, etc.)
- Effectively monitor machines and equipment.
- Feeding raw material or parts to machines.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
- Meet daily production targets and goals.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Follow manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- Achieve daily quality goals and safety standards.
- Ensure all records/logs/production documents are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Adherence to 5S and cleanliness practices at all times.
- Ensure that all product is identified correctly and that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Follow all instructions, policies and procedures.
- Follow all required safety processes and procedures; PPE, guards, cleanliness
- Good working knowledge of machinist functional and technical skills, controls and instrumentation
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and notes
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Education:
HS graduate or equivalent required
Experience:
1+ years of prior machinist experience
Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred
Work Environment andPhysical Requirements
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
