Registered Nurse Med Surg | Coldwater, Michigan

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing environment
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with charting applications and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Deliver high-quality care to adult patients on the medical-surgical floor
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and progress
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and assist with procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other nurses for optimal care coordination
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding care plans and ongoing health needs
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and intervene as necessary
• Uphold all hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines
