About the Position

Summary:

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, complex-medical, and other diagnoses that affect a person’s strength, range of motion, endurance, and overall function. The Staff Physical Therapist will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible.

Responsibilities:

Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.

Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.

Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.

Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

Advising patients on exercise techniques.

Requirements
Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program and hold minimally a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Required

Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapy practice license granted from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions. Required

BLS Certification,

Physical Therapy License.
