American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring Critical Access Hospital experience and floating to the ED.

• Med/Surg unit at a Critical Access Hospital with occasional floating to the Emergency Department
• 3x12hr Night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 36hrs/week with a 48hrs/week option available
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years current Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Access Hospital experience required
• BSN highly preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Med Surg skills checklist required
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg setting with possible telemetry monitoring
• May be required to float to the Emergency Department as needed
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• Housing in the area can be challenging, so early planning is recommended
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
