Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Colebrook, NH | Critical Access Hospital

Contract | Nights | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, comprising approximately 60% of the role
• Float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed, comprising approximately 40% of the role — candidates must be willing to take Stepdown and Med/Surg patients
• Serve as backup charge nurse for both the ED and Med/Surg units
• Stabilize, assess, and coordinate care for emergent patients, including preparation for transfer when services exceed facility scope
• Collaborate with support staff, ED technicians, and telehealth services to deliver timely, high-quality care

• Active New Hampshire RN license (must be current at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Active TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum) certification
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• NRP certification
• Emergency Room skills checklist and supervisory reference from the past year of employment

• Work in a modern Emergency Department equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Tele Emergency, Telepsych, and Teleneonatal services
