Auto Electrician We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join our busy depot located in Keighley. BASIC SALARY: £36,400

JOB DESCRIPTION:

(Auto Electrician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive)
· Using advanced diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and laptops to connect to the bus's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to pinpoint system errors.
· Repairing or replacing alternators, starter motors, battery banks, and faulty wiring in accordance with strict DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) safety regulations
· Working with heavily integrated multiplex wiring networks that control a bus's doors, lighting, and engine components.
· Installing and maintaining passenger-facing technology such as security cameras, telematics, passenger counting sensors, and electronic ticketing machines

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

(Auto Electrician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive)
· Be responsible in repairing and maintaining the company vehicles to a DVSA or higher standard
· Servicing and major unit changes
· Be able to carry out preventative maintenance
· Be able to carry out roadside and running repairs as necessary
· Be NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in PCV/HGV engineering THE COMPANY:
