Job Description & How to Apply Below
Custom, One‑Off Work — Not Production Welding Step into a true job shop where every build is different. You’ll take a print, plan the approach, and carry a project from layout to final finish with minimal supervision. If you’re after repetitive, fixture-based runs, this isn’t that role.
A day in the shop
You’ll start by reviewing 2D drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and job travelers. You’ll measure and lay out parts, fit and tack assemblies, and select MIG (GMAW) as your primary process across carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless—with TIG (GTAW) used as needed. As you progress, you’ll verify dimensions, grind and clean welds to spec, and ensure every assembly meets structural and aesthetic requirements.
You’ll wrap the day by updating the traveler, meeting safety/quality/scheduling expectations, and leaving your area clean and organized.
What you’ll do Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
