The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and comfortable performing a variety of manufacturing and material-handling tasks. Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities Assist with general sheet metal fabrication and production activities
Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, work-in-process, and finished parts
Assist with laser-cut part removal, sorting, and organization
Deburr, grind, sand, and clean fabricated metal parts
Assist with material handling and preparation for downstream operations
Separate and identify parts according to routers and production paperwork
Assist Press Brake, Welding, Powder Coating, Assembly, and other departments as needed
Operate basic hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and other shop equipment after training
Maintain organized work areas and properly store tools and materials
Perform general shop cleanup and housekeeping duties
Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPEInspect parts for obvious damage or defects and report concerns to supervision
Follow instructions from supervisors and production leads
Perform other production-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
Willingness to learn multiple areas of the manufacturing operation
Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, moving material, noise, dust, and typical shop conditions
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Work Schedule Monday–Thursday6:00 AM–4:30 PMFour 10-hour shifts with Fridays normally off. Friday overtime may be available or required based on production needs.
