Warehouse Material Handler

Overview

Material Handler – Ryder, College Park, GA. This position offers weekly pay and opportunities for a career in the supply chain.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; thrive in a diverse environment
• Ability to build professional relationships across levels
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work with health and safety practices; flexible schedule across shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up
