Summary:
The Department of Decision, Operations & Information Technologies at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park seeks to hire an adjunct lecturer to support our Online Master’s in Business Analytics (OMSBA) program.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- Vector Databases
- Large Language Models
- RAG optimization and evaluation
- Real-time Use Cases for Agentic Systems
- Multi Agent Systems
- Multi Context Protocol

Masters with 18 graduate credits in an information systems or operations management related discipline
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
PreferencesDoctorate in information systems or business analytics related discipline
Relevant practitioner-related experience
Prior teaching and/or training experience
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS certification, PMP, etc.)
Experience with a learning management system, preferably Canvas
Experience with the creation of course materials
