As a Test Engineer, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Navy to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation GPS‑degraded, semi‑autonomous, defense capability. Your customer will trust you to test, analyze, evaluate, verify, and validate these systems using established system requirements, and to identify urgent mitigation opportunities early in the development cycle. YouHave:
- 6+ years of experience leading test and evaluation, or system integration on DoD aerospace systems or ground systems, including integrating hardware, electronic circuits, and components into larger systems, ensuring compatibility
- 6+ years of experience working in a collaborative team environment, developing test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings, and participating in test execution, verification, or analysis
- Experience supporting overall engineering integration of systems engineering and integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
- Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large‑scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents based on System and Subsystem Requirements (e.g., TES, TEMP, SITP, EVP, VCRM, RVFs)
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), developing contractors, and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on energetic systems
- Experience with portfolio and program verification, interoperability, validation, certification, and operational acceptance
- Experience planning, executing, and reporting testing with the Lead Developmental Test Organization or the Operational Test Agency
- Experience planning and executing program reviews throughout the lifecycle of the system
- Experience using Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools to manage system definitions, technical baselines, and requirements verification
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01, 5000.02, 5000.89, 5000.98, or
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Technology
- CTEP or INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $62,000–$141,000 annually (USD). Full‑time employees will receive benefits including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
Work ModelRemote:
May require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
Hybrid:
Expect to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently; may also need to visit a customer facility.

Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with direct collaboration with colleagues and customers.
