Electrical Engineer / Hardware Design Engineer

Vivid Technology is partnering with a leading global communications technology company to hire an Electrical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work on next-generation Sat Com user terminals, supporting the design and development of power supplies, GNSS modules, and high-speed digital systems within a collaborative engineering environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years' experience in electrical hardware design
• Experience with Cadence Allegro/OrCAD or similar ECAD tools
• Strong understanding of power systems, microelectronics, and circuit design
• Experience with high-speed digital design and PCB development
• Hands‑on use of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and signal analysis tools
• Python scripting experience for test automation and engineering applications

• Design and develop electrical subsystems for satellite communication products
• Create schematics, block diagrams, and BOMs
• Perform SI/PI analysis, board bring‑up, debugging, and DVT testing
• Support manufacturing, DFM, and DFA activities
• Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross‑functional engineering teams
• Utilize automation and AI‑driven tools to improve design and validation processes
• Ku/Ka/Q‑band RF design
• DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 memory design
• Ethernet, SPI, LVDS, RS232, and RS422 protocols
• FPGA or microprocessor‑based systems
