Test Engineering Technician

  Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Poly

SOSi is seeking a Test Engineering Technician with C4l and/or C5

ISRT experience to support a government program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This position will support a multi-functional team and requires both strong technical and collaborative skills. Extensive on the job training will be required and the ideal candidate will embrace the knowledge transfer process.

• Perform test and evaluation of fixed and mobile communications equipment.
• Perform unit and system level testing of equipment for both RF and baseband systems.
• Perform standard engineering, special purpose testing, and analysis, evaluation, reverse engineering, and repair of equipment.
• Identify equipment and system strengths and weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Develop test procedures and plans.
• Provide detailed written test reports.
• Conduct demonstrations of tests for line and supervisory personnel.

• Active in-scope TS/SCI with Cl Polygraph.
• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Technical writing experience.
• Strong oral communication skills, including conducting formal presentations.
• Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications systems.
• Service in US military or as a contractor/government employee supporting C4I/C5
  
  ISRT missions.

• Degree in systems or electrical engineering.
• Completion of US Military signal school for satellite communications or civilian equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
• Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
