We are seeking a Process Mechanical Engineer Project Manager - Wastewater PM to join our team! You will be responsible for the design and development of intelligent systems and industrial systems control. The candidate shall havea PE license in Maryland, Virginia, or DC (or another state with reciprocity for MD/VA/DC).

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineer shall have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Five years of experience performing engineering design related functions for water and/or wastewater facilities owned by municipalities or regional water and/or wastewater authorities.
  • Shall be capable of performing principal level mechanical engineering work in the field, plant and/or office; and is required to work independently.
  • Shall be registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland, Virginia, or DC.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools such as Project Management Information system (PMIS) such as Unifier, e-Builder etc. (not a requirement but good to have).
  • Shall provide technical reviews of general and mechanical-specific content of submittal packages. A design submittal package may consist of technical analyses, design criteria reports, contract plans and specifications and/or related documents.
  • Shall review contract drawings to ensure details are shown and are sufficient.
  • Shall review contract drawings for adequately designed and detailed equipment bases/supports.
  • Shall review contract specifications for proposed mechanical systems, equipment and materials for sufficiency and for probable, good durability and long-term reliability.
  • Shall review / respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and development of field orders for Construction project.
  • Familiarity with CAD or other related software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
