The Lockwood Group supports a C5
ISR hardware and software program for a U.S. Army customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This effort provides product technical support services for systems and equipment produced, fielded, modified, or sustained under PdM Network Modernization (Net Mod) and PdM Mission Network within the Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN), Program Executive Office C3T (PEO C3T). The program ensures tactical network systems remain secure, compliant, and operationally resilient in support of Army modernization and mission readiness.
Advancing the capabilities of modern networked systems for the Army, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of electrical systems integral to military operations.
Responsibilities- Design and Development: Develop and design electrical systems and circuits to support advanced military networking technologies. Create and evaluate technical specifications, schematics, and reports for electrical components.
- Integration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with software and hardware components. Ensure seamless operation and compatibility of electrical systems with existing military infrastructure.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure they meet required performance standards and specifications. Analyze test data and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for designs, test procedures, and validation reports. Maintain up-to-date records of all electrical engineering activities, changes, and improvements.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and systems comply with military standards and regulations as well as safety protocols. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate cutting‑edge solutions.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with project managers and other engineers to meet project deadlines and deliver high‑quality outputs. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members as needed.
- BS, minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 5 years in the Department of Defense contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and modern networking technologies.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
