Position Summary

MAG Aerospace seeks a Senior Level Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering as a transdisciplinary, integrative approach that supports the successful realization, operation, and retirement of engineered systems, including technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG).
EligibilityMust be a U.S. citizen.
Requires a current Top Secret clearance and a CI Polygraph within 6 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understand stakeholder needs and expectations and translate them into system requirements.
- Integrate multiple disciplines and specialty groups into a structured development process from concept through production, operation, and disposal.
- Document requirements, perform design synthesis, and validate solutions while considering the complete problem, including technical, business, and operational aspects.
- Ensure system quality and performance by managing trade‑offs, risks, and constraints across the system life cycle.
- Recent engineering assignments supporting design, development, and acquisition of EW systems.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes and technical management practices.
- Ability to work on multi‑functional teams.
- Experience with developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and/or Concept of Employment (CONEMP).
- Experience with developing systems engineering requirements, including Systems Requirements Documents (SRD), System/Subsystem Specifications (SSS), and System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDD).
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years full‑time professional experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
- Current active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance.
- DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Manager Level II (e.g., CISSP, JSSEP, Sec+CE, GSNA, GSLC, or CISM).
- Position is 100% in Government spaces; no telework authorized.
Position is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as required for this role, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
CompensationSalary range: $150,000 to $180,000 (annualized USD).
