Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for the successful management and delivery of assigned information technology projects and task orders. This role provides day-to-day project leadership, ensures work is performed within scope, and verifies that deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined requirements.
The Project Manager serves as the primary facilitator between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, proactively identifying risks and issues, recommending mitigation strategies, and driving solutions that improve operational efficiency while maintaining or enhancing performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day execution of assigned projects and task orders
Ensure all project activities remain within approved scope, schedule, and budget
Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, recommending mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain detailed
project plans, schedules, and milestones
Identify critical paths, key tasks, dependencies, testing activities, and acceptance criteria
Coordinate and facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
Monitor project performance and progress

Provide accurate, up-to-date project status reports, including schedule, cost, risks, and issues
Support testing, validation, and acceptance of project deliverables
Implement solutions to improve project efficiency, including cost reduction and process optimization

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in all project documentation and stakeholder interactions
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in:
Computer Science
Information Systems
Business
Or another related discipline
Minimum 5 years of general experience in project management
At least 5 years of specialized experience managing information technology projects
Demonstrated leadership role in at least three (3) successful IT projects delivered on time and on budget
Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality across complex projects
Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in a related technical or business discipline
Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent)
Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects or task orders
Strong background in risk management, stakeholder coordination, and project reporting
Demonstrated ability to improve project efficiency while maintaining or enhancing performance levels
Excellent written and oral communication skills
