• High School/GED experience +12 years
• One of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the IAT‑2 (DD 8570) requirement:
  Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED
• Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph

• Support a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day‑to‑day security operations.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
• Provide configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to the system and assess the security impact of those changes.
• Prepare and review documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Use audit reduction tools (SEAR, SPLUNK).
• Identify and fix problems within existing systems, design, and implementation of new systems, and enhance existing systems.
• Participate in analysis, design, and new construction of next‑generation IT systems.
• Understand customer needs and the realities of commercially available IT products to create implementation‑ready requirements.
• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing work products in the Technical Process Area associated with ISO/IEC 15288.
• Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
• Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of the project’s technical designs.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
• Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.
• Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine suitability for project implementation.
• Assist in developing new or innovative approaches to technical or engineering issues.
