Role Summary
The SAP Alliance Manager will serve as the primary bridge between our firm and SAP. You will be responsible for elevating our partnership status, maximising our ecosystem benefits, and aligning our technical go-to-market strategy specifically in SAP RISE, BTP, and Cloud Analytics, with SAP's regional sales teams. You will own the compliance, certification, and business development aspects of the SAP Partner Edge program.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Ecosystem Management
- Status Governance:
Maintain and upgrade the firm’s SAP Partner Edge status by ensuring all competency, revenue, and certified-resource requirements are met quarterly. - Relationship Orchestration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP Partner Business Managers (PBMs). Facilitate periodic business reviews (QBRs) and executive alignments. - Program Compliance:
Oversee internal audits to ensure delivery teams maintain the mandatory number of SAP certifications/accreditations required for our partnership tier.
Sales & Opportunity Pipeline
- Co-Selling:
Proactively engage with SAP field sales teams to identify "influence" and "resell" opportunities. - Customer Profiling:
Maintain a centralised repository of customer success stories and technical competencies to facilitate easier partner-led nominations and case study submissions to SAP. - Pipeline Hygiene:
Track and report on joint-pipeline health, ensuring our firm is positioned as a preferred implementation partner for SAP RISE and BTP migration projects.
Marketing & Enablement
- Solution Alignment:
Work with internal delivery leadership to ensure our service offerings (e.g., Data Centre Exit, Azure/Fabric integration) are registered and featured on the SAP Store. - Joint Go-to-Market:
Collaborate with marketing to run joint webinars, round tables, and industry events that showcase our SAP expertise to potential clients.
- Experience:
9+ years in SAP consulting or business development, with at least 3 years specifically managing SAP Alliance/Partner programs. - Program Expertise:
Deep understanding of the SAP Partner Edge Program, Partner Portal mechanics, and Competency Framework. - Technical Literacy:
Ability to converse fluently about SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and S/4
HANA architectures to effectively represent our delivery capabilities to SAP stakeholders. - Soft Skills:
Strong executive presence; proven ability to navigate large organisational matrices and influence stakeholders without direct authority. - Partner Tier Maintenance: 100% adherence to competency requirements and timely renewal of program statuses.
- Joint Pipeline Growth:
Annual growth in SAP-referred opportunities and successful co-sell deal registrations. - Certification Velocity:
Percentage increase in active, verified SAP certifications across the technical delivery team.
