Human Touch is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst (Journeyman) to join our team in support of a Navy client in Patuxent River, MD. This position analyzes science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. It also performs systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
You may also analyze or recommend commercially available software. This position performs Network Administration and Design in support of the Digital Signage system to ensure its availability 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Install, upgrade, configure, tune, maintain, administer, and monitor proper backups, including third-party applications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve issues, and/or make suggestions for solutions for the system software, hardware, peripherals, user access and connectivity
- Evaluate, apply, and respond to IAVA, CTOs and Advisories.
- Monitor system operability and performance (e.g., CPU/memory utilization, file system space), and make recommendations
- Coordinate and work with other teams and/or vendors to provide assistance with hardware and software installations and updates
- Maintain software documentation and operational instructions, including software installation instructions and system configuration documentation
- Create and provide monthly metrics related to usage
- Evaluate new requirements, advise, direct, develop layouts/content, create and maintain database connections, and update functionality for new and evolving requirements
- Three (3) to Ten (10) years of experience performing tasks similar to those described above.
- Must have BA/BS degree from an accredited College or University, or an Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years’ of additional related work experience. Six (6) years’ of additional related work experience may be also substituted for a BA/BS degree
- Shall be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess an active U.S. DoD Secret clearance
- Security+ and other relevant Operating Systems certification
