About the Opportunity
The Cloud Systems Engineer IV - Open Shift Architect designs and supports enterprise Open Shift and Kubernetes environments that enable secure, scalable application modernization, including migration of legacy applications and virtual machines into containerized platforms using Open Shift Virtualization Engine (OVE) and Open Shift Kubernetes Engine (OKE). This role develops automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure standards while collaborating with engineers, developers, and system administrators to ensure reliable deployments and integration in a remote and on-site work environment.
This role requires participation in an on-call rotation and occasional weekend work to support mission-critical systems and operational needs.
Success in this role means delivering stable and well-governed container platforms, improving deployment automation and CI/CD reliability, and enabling smooth migration of legacy systems to cloud-native environments. It also includes strong documentation, effective cross-team collaboration, and consistent support of secure, high-performing Kubernetes operations.
