Red Hat OpenShift Architect

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Red Hat Open Shift Architect for a full-time on-site position (40 hours per week) in College Park, Maryland, USA. Our client is a company that provides a wide range of IT services, including software development, Salesforce solutions for B2C and B2B, and CRM.

• Proven experience as a Senior Open Shift Architect with enterprise experience.
• Expert knowledge of Red Hat Open Shift architecture, design, deployment, and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Open Shift Virtualization (Open Shift Virtualization Engine - OVE).
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing Open Shift Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters.
• Proven experience planning and executing VMware migration projects.
• Strong experience working with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures and deployment strategies.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including load balancers and firewalls.
• Experience implementing container security best practices.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Knowledge of security and regulatory compliance frameworks, including NIST and FedRAMP.
• Have a US citizenship.

• Design secure and scalable Open Shift platforms.
• Build & manage OVE and OKE clusters.
• Migrate VMware VMs to Open Shift.
• Modernize legacy applications into containers.
• Define enterprise architecture and best practices.
• Conduct High Availability & Disaster Recovery.
• Provide Platform Governance & Lifecycle Management
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
