Oteemo is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator and Dev Sec Ops  Architect, to join our team of hands-on engineering consultants, to support our customers development, test, and production environments. This role is for an experienced Platform and Infrastructure Architect and Solutioneer, capable of identifying and implementing end-to-end solutions for a large and complex system of systems across both cloud and hybrid on-premise environments.

This role will function as a subject matter expert for the customer, and lead a small team of Cloud Engineers, to identify, propose, develop, and implement infrastructure and platform solutions.

Candidates should have experience designing large system solutions, and communicating and advocating their designs effective with C-Suite leaders and non-technical staff. They should also have experience as a team lead or with managing a small team of engineers.

Work also includes system administration, networking, CI/CD pipeline administration in Gitlab, pipeline and security tooling, vulnerability assessments and scanning, Kubernetes Cluster Administration (AKS and on-prem K8S), testing infrastructure, building machine and container images, and upgrades and maintenance of system infrastructure and tooling.

• Candidate must have 8 years of experience as a systems administrator in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux
• At least one year of experience leading a team of engineers
• Experience building and delivering engineering presentations for C-Suite leaders and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, EKS, RKE2, K3D, Open Shift, etc.), with AKS preferred
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and Linux administration.
• Experience building and deploying container images in Docker/Podman/Helm preferred
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Terraform preferred)
• Experience with BASH scripting for automation or similar
• Experience with Python scripting for automation or similar
• Hands-on experience automating Development and Infrastructure tasking
• Hand-on experience with service catalogue self-service automation preferred
• Hands-on experience implementing and integrating security tooling into the operational stack.
• Experience using AI for automation preferred
• Must have one of the following certifications
• Security+ CE
• CySA+
• GSEC
• CCNA Security
• Preferred for candidates to also have the following or can complete one of these certification once hired by Oteemo.
• Provide proof of completing a training or course in one of the following areas
• Linux+
• Red Hat
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Provide proof of completing a training course in Microsoft Azure in both of the following areas
• AZ-104
• AZ-305
