Overview

Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location:

Travel up to 90 miles from home on average; paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday; weekends are not required.

Role: 2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Field Service Representative to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll execute a wide range of in-store tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps
  • Performing build-outs, resets, and display repairs
  • Following plan-o-grams and client-specific directives
  • Work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently and professionally
  • Manage store-level relationships and ensure top-quality execution on every project

Job Description
  • Key responsibilities include communicating with field services management within 24 hours of contact
  • Keep availability updated and accurate
  • Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixturing
  • Complete forms, images, and surveys associated with each job before leaving the site
  • Maintain displays according to planograms and client requests
  • Conduct break-fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are functional
  • Participate in early morning installations and team installations; provide solution feedback
  • Manage virtual software and ensure timely task execution
  • Contribute to team success by assisting others as needed
  • Submit accurate timecards and report anomalies daily
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Complete training and certification programs
  • Track and communicate activity via designated systems
  • Available for weekend assignments as needed
Scheduling and Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; some early morning hours may be required
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt
Project Execution
  • Follow directives and execute tasks fully and completely
  • Collaborate with the shared services team to drive solutions and operational efficiencies
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the shared services team, clients, retailers, and stakeholders
  • Cultivate collaboration and communication with internal teams and field representatives
Leadership & Cross-functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism and strong leadership while representing the company
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain transparent, respectful communication
  • Collaborate across all company areas to ensure alignment and operational success
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved according to field KPIs

Qualifications Age / Eligibility
  • Must be 18 or older (insurance requirements)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
Availability
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed
  • Early morning and late-night availability as needed
  • Minimum 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30-day period
Physical Abilities
  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs
  • Able to kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead
Adaptability
  • Ability to adjust to changing tasks and environments
Communication Skills
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email
  • Use a smartphone to clock in/out, upload photos, and access apps
  • Respond to field services management promptly (within about 24 hours, varying by project)
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent typically required
  • Retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory
Experience Preferred
  • Installation and merchandising experience
