Pac Arctic, LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self‑motivated individual to perform the duties of an Access Control/Security Specialist with intimate knowledge of visitor procedures.

The Access Control/Security Specialist will support PAC and our government customer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Operational Technology Division (OTD) at Quantico, VA.

This position requires a Top‑Secret clearance and SCI eligibility and the willingness and ability to pass a CI Polygraph. Please do not apply if you do not possess that level clearance.

This position supports the FBI at Quantico, VA 7 am – 3:30 pm (Mon – Fri) that includes a 30‑minute lunch break with the option to be flexible to cover the 8 am - 5 pm (early shift) based on mission needs and counterpart scheduling/staffing.

Access Control Security Specialists (AC/SS) must be flexible and willing to alternate their schedule in order to staff any of the escort desks during the designated working hours. The contractors may be required to shift their schedule or report to an alternate location without significant advance notice. Demonstrating cooperation and flexibility when directed to staff an alternate escort desk during any of the identified work hours is absolutely necessary.

Functions, Responsibilities & Duties
  • Use the FBI access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix and the SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database.
  • Conduct Scattered Castles and/or JPAS verifications as requested.
  • Process incoming Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and enter the information into the appropriate database.
  • Coordinate VAR information with the appropriate FBI Security Division personnel.
  • Process and coordinate foreign visitors' access to OTD facilities.
  • Prepare electronic communications (ECs) in Sentinel as required.
  • Handle FBI OTD outgoing clearance transfer procedures, obtain proxy access, and assist as necessary.
  • Process FBI Limited Access Request (LAR) paperwork, including coordinating approvals/denials with the FBI Security Division, notifying the OTD point-of-contact, entering details into the database, and preparing associated EC.
  • Issue badges and IDs in accordance with policy and utilize the badge system as directed.
  • Monitor CCTV video.
  • Conduct perimeter checks.
  • Coordinate with Quantico Security Operations Center (QSOC) for emergency response and alarm activity.
  • Screen visitors and their belongings with an X‑ray machine and a metal detector.
  • Conduct visual checks if the X‑ray machine and/or metal detector is not available.
  • Complete all trainings required or provided by the customer to ensure proper handling of this equipment.
  • Assist with escort duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Possess final Top‑Secret personnel security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special accesses.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in any field and three (3) years of security experience in relevant fields, such as industrial security, physical security and computer/network security – OR – a minimum of five (5) years of experience in any security related field.
  • Be skilled in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), preparing briefings (e.g., PowerPoint), Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Communicate clearly, provide security briefings and debriefings, and produce comprehensive written communications.
  • Perform all duties in an extremely professional, customer‑service oriented manner.
