Software Engineer, AI and Large-Scale Streaming Systems

An engineer who likes hard technical problems, efficient code, and software that directly affects mission outcomes is a perfect fit for this role. You will work at the intersection of AI and ML, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance engineering to build systems that can process, analyze, and act on data at scale.

• Build and integrate AI and ML capabilities into mission software systems
• Develop and optimize high-performance, GPU-enabled applications
• Design and support large-scale streaming data analytics platforms
• Use Terraform to provision and manage AWS infrastructure
• Develop backend services and performance-sensitive components in C++, Python, or Golang
• Troubleshoot and improve throughput, scalability, and system reliability
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions in mission environments

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 14 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma and 18 years of related experience

• AI and ML development or integration experience
• Terraform experience with AWS
• Experience with C++, Python, or Golang
• Experience writing high-performance or GPU-enabled applications
• Experience with large-scale streaming data analytic systems

• Experience optimizing distributed or cloud-based systems for performance
• Familiarity with AWS-native analytics and infrastructure services
• Experience supporting mission systems in secure environments
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills in fast-moving technical teams
