Proof of the Pudding (POP) is proud to provide the food and beverage services at the Georgia International Convention Center. POP offers fine‑quality concessions and catering for meetings, exhibition hall booths, conventions, and special events. The Georgia International Convention Center includes a 9,800 square‑foot state‑of‑the‑art culinary arts center and Georgia's largest ballroom at 40,000 squareft.

We are looking for multiple Warehouse Associates to receive, sort, and organize incoming orders, equipment, and product. This position is responsible for assisting the moving and organization of product to maximize kitchen efficiency for each event. The Warehouse Team will work with the Chefs and Operations Team to organize and identify items, prepare kitchen distribution, double‑check inventories, and help distribute product for event days.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the receiving of shipments, monitoring inventory, and sorting product
  • Check product in by comparing shipment to order invoice
  • Organize invoices and assist with the PO process
  • Help organize large deliveries multiple times per day
  • Organize the prepared food storage trucks
  • Operate food‑service equipment in a safe manner
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to health code and the Culinary Team’s instructions
  • Receive finished product from kitchen, safely store in compliance with Proof and Health Department procedures, inventory each item to meet production numbers
  • Pull and organize stock in accordance with culinary pull sheets, communicating shorts to culinary lead
  • Plan to fill shorts and/or day‑of menu items and execute distribution of items to locations
  • Clear storage locations post‑event, inventory excess product, separate returns from donations
  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness of walk‑in coolers and freezers, loading dock area, and dry storage
  • Work with Culinary team to line up donation company for post‑event, oversee process and communication
  • Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications

Experience & Specialized Skills

  • Experience in a high‑volume food distribution role is required; experience in stadiums, arenas, concerts, and large‑scale event centers is comparable
  • Serv Safe certified is preferred
  • Familiarity with invoices and managing inventory
  • Comfortable commuting to College Park, GA
