Diner Worker Sub-Type Staff Contractual (C2) (Fixed Term)
Under general supervision, receives, stores, and distributes food, beverages, supplies, materials, and equipment.
Leads and trains subordinate personnel.
Maintains receiving, storage, and inventory areas in accordance with departmental standards, safety requirements, and health regulations.
Utilizes computerized inventory and food ordering systems to support departmental operations.
Physical Demands- Extensive standing, walking, and climbing.
- Lifting, transporting and stocking assigned supplies and materials.
- Wearing and working in personal protective equipment in extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
- Working a variable schedule based on service needs and special events.
- Reporting to work when campus is closed due to weather or other emergency conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years related work experience.
- General knowledge of procedures for issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Skill in operating warehouse material handling equipment.
- Basic mathematics proficiency.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Ability to follow directions and provide guidance.
- Computer operation and standard office equipment usage.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year‑for‑year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
BenefitsSalary Range: $42,770.00 - $51,324.00
