Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with campus officials and/or local first responders as directed;
Monitor access points and campus activity, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with visitor check-in, directions, and de-escalation of disruptive situations;
Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision
