Why This Accounting Role Is a Little Different Collaboration & ImpactYou’ll work closely with the Controller and the accounting leadership team, supporting financial reporting, internal controls, and informed decision‑making within the department.

The DetailsLocation: In‑Person, College Station, TX
Schedule: Full‑Time
Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience
What Your Day Looks Like- Own the Close: Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly allocation, accrual calculations, and monthly and year‑end financial statements for the consolidated company and subsidiaries.
- Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with bank covenants and reporting requirements.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and support annual audits by preparing documentation.
- Inventory & Funding Oversight: Monitor inventory status and fund availability for related transactions.
- Team Leadership: Assist with hiring, training, and developing accounting team members.
- Cross‑Functional Partner: Collaborate with the Controller and other departments to improve processes and strengthen controls.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred)
- Bring 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Have strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Are proficient in ERP systems and Excel
- Communicate clearly, lead confidently, and manage multiple priorities with ease
