You’ll work closely with the Controller and the accounting leadership team, supporting financial reporting, internal controls, and informed decision‑making within the department.

This role isn’t about staying stagnant. You’ll lead, mentor, and help shape a strong Accounting Team while continuing to grow your own expertise.

Location: In‑Person, College Station, TX

Schedule: Full‑Time

Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience

• Own the Close: Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly allocation, accrual calculations, and monthly and year‑end financial statements for the consolidated company and subsidiaries.
• Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with bank covenants and reporting requirements.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and support annual audits by preparing documentation.
• Inventory & Funding Oversight: Monitor inventory status and fund availability for related transactions.
• Team Leadership: Assist with hiring, training, and developing accounting team members.
• Cross‑Functional Partner: Collaborate with the Controller and other departments to improve processes and strengthen controls.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred)
• Bring 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Have strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Are proficient in ERP systems and Excel
• Communicate clearly, lead confidently, and manage multiple priorities with ease
