Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise teams of staff and seniors; provide feedback, coaching, and development support.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning.
- Deliver strategic tax planning solutions that align with clients' broader business goals.
- Review complex tax returns to ensure quality and accuracy prior to submission.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through responsive, consultative service.
- Support the professional development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance.
- Manage multiple engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling additional services.
- Represent the firm at networking events and in the broader business community.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required).
- Active CPA or EA license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
- Prior experience in a public accounting environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons.
