Accounting Manager

We’re hiring an Accounting Manager in College Station, TX.

This role blends technical accounting expertise with team leadership and cross‑functional impact. You’ll partner closely with senior finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support key business decisions across multiple entities.

• Leading month‑end and year‑end close processes (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
• Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
• Supporting internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements
• Partnering with leadership on financial reporting and process improvement initiatives
• Assisting with audit coordination and documentation
• Supporting inventory and funding‑related accounting activities
• Contributing to the development and growth of accounting team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
• ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
• Clear communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead effectively
