Transcript Analyst

Position: Transcript Analyst I
* Associate degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Two years of transcript analysis or related experience.
* Bachelor’s degree
* Six months experience in college admissions, records, or departmental advising office.
* Working knowledge of the college credit system preferred.
* Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to understand, follow and give verbal and written instructions.
* Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
* Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database applications.
* Ability to organize and work effectively and prioritize objectives with a high level of discretion, independent judgment, and initiative.
* Planning and organizational skills.
* Examine, evaluate, and enter student academic records to determine admission eligibility using the Document Imaging Workflow System (DIWS) and the student information system.
* Prepares admissions related documents for review.
* Assists with the validation function for all paper college transcripts as well as partners with a transfer transcript analyst to share responsibilities in peak season.
