Proposed Minimum Salary

The Administrative Associate IV is responsible for assigning work requests to the appropriate staff member or student worker in an expeditious manner and for answering the general Sustainable Transportation line, acting as the liaison between Sustainable Transportation and UPD regarding information requests.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Manage Ticket Request System
- Perform intake and assignment of work requests via the Sustainable Transportation ticketing system.
- Ensure tickets are assigned quickly and service requests are fulfilled.
- Curate tickets to ensure they are addressed and closed.
- Manage Office Phone Line
- Answer calls, take messages, relay information, and provide assistance following departmental guidelines.
- Communicate callers or messages to the right individuals in a timely manner.
- UPD Dispatch Liaison
- Contact UPD when electric micromobility devices are impounded to provide detailed information, especially if a device is reported stolen.
- Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
:
- High‑school graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years of experience in administrative, clerical, ticket management, or general office work.
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ticket system management and administrative experience.
- Working knowledge of the university layout and building locations/identifiers.
- Knowledge of University SAP 24.01.99.M0.01 and micromobility regulations.
- Valid driver’s license to operate motor vehicles and a good driving record, or ability to obtain a Texas class “C” license within 30 days of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
:
- Knowledge of types of micromobility.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Keyboarding skills.
- Ability to identify work priorities and manage time.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
- Customer‑service orientation and ability to multi‑task cooperatively with others.
This position is security sensitive and requires compliance with state and federal laws, Texas A&M University System policies, and safety requirements.
