Receptionist & Administrative Assistant
The Receptionist & Administrative Assistant serves as a key ambassador for the Texas A&M Foundation and is often the first point of contact for donors, visitors, and partners. This roleis responsible for managing front desk operations, providing administrative support to the Engagement Services team, and delivering a polished, professional, anddonor-centricexperience for all audiences.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operations while supporting the Foundations mission through exceptional service, organization, and communication.

What Youll DoAs the Receptionist & Administrative Assistant, you will support daily operations and serve as the front-line representative of the Foundation. In this role, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting guests and managing incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls and assisting callers as needed
- Coordinate building-related responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate shipping and courier services
- Provide administrative support to the Engagement Services team, including scheduling and logistics
- Coordinate conference room reservations and shared resources
- Assist with financial administrative tasks and check receipt logs
- Support donor-related processes, including recognition and stewardship efforts
- Assistwithspecial eventsand provide backup support to the Engagement Services team as needed
- Maintainaccuratedocumentation andidentifyopportunities for process improvement

- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role
- Strong customer service skills with a donor-centric mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative or front desk role
- Experience in a nonprofit, higher education, or fundraising environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or donor databases
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams
