Role Overview

As an Entry‑Level Construction Specialist, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks throughout the project lifecycle. During the pursuit phase, you will:

  • Assist in reviewing project documents and preparing key deliverables.
  • Participate in pre‑bid site visits and assist in the selection of subcontractors.
  • Evaluate complex proposals to determine total project costs based on labor, materials, and equipment expenses.

In the planning and execution phases, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and safe project completion.
  • Coordinating the arrival and installation of materials and equipment with field personnel and vendors.
  • Preparing and reviewing construction documents, answering queries, and managing request for information (RFI) processes.
  • Conducting inspections to uphold quality control standards at project sites.
  • Evaluating safety performance metrics for subcontractors and vendors in collaboration with health and safety professionals.

During project close‑out, you will:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to finalize all contract‑required deliverables.
  • Assist in closing subcontract and purchase orders.
  • Compile final record drawings and ensure all close‑out submittals are documented and approved.
  • Engage with the team to conduct final inspections and client satisfaction checks.

Additionally, with appropriate training, there will be opportunities to work with our Automation and Electrical Self‑Perform team on various projects.

Qualifications

You should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A willingness to travel (approximately 70%) domestically and internationally based on project requirements.
