Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Collections Representative role is based in the College Station-Bryan area. The Collections Representative will contact customers regarding past-due accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and document all interactions in the company’s systems. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, explaining account statuses, answering customer questions, and providing clear, respectful communication throughout the collections process. The role also involves processing payments, monitoring account progress, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet individual and departmental collection goals while adhering to all applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications- Candidates should possess skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with the ability to negotiate payment plans and manage delinquent accounts professionally.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to handle phone calls, resolve concerns, and maintain respectful, clear interactions.
- Candidates should possess Finance-related skills, including basic understanding of billing, account reconciliation, and payment processing.
- Ability to work on-site full time in the College Station-Bryan area, with reliable attendance and time management.
- Comfort using computers and collections software, with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in collections, call centers, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in collections.
