JOB TITLE:
AVID Tutor (Part-time)
REPORTS TO:
AVID Teacher and AVIS District Coordinator
WAGE STATUS:
Temporary, non-exempt
College Station ISD is looking for energetic, committed college/university students to be tutors in our
Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) classes. These classes provide academic instruction and
tutorial support to students and prepares them for eligibility for four-year colleges and universities.
Tutors are needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following campuses and scheduled for a minimum of 2
hours and up to 8 hours between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm based on your availability and our need.
* A&M Consolidated High School (grades 9-12)
* College Station High School (grades 9-12)
* A&M Consolidated Middle School (grades 7-8)
* College Station Middle School (grades 7-8)
* Wellborn Middle School (grades 7-8)
Pay: $12.00 per hour and up to $15.00 per hour with two years of AVID Tutoring experience.
A Criminal History Check is required upon completed upon submission
