The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site at our College Station campus. This is an in-person opportunity.
Salary: $62,900.00 annually and a $3,000.00 stipend for professional development
Opportunities to Contribute:

* Build and maintain relationships with campus, state, and national OER funding partners.
* Support faculty in locating, creating, and managing openly licensed and library‑licensed course materials.
* Collaborate with campus partners to design, deliver, assess, and promote Open Education programs and present Open Ed services at university events.
* Monitor and report on OER development, usage, and funding outcomes using institutional data sources.
* Provide guidance on instructional design and funding needs within an open practices framework.
* Stay current with library technologies, copyright, fair use, and trends in open educational practices.
* Engage in scholarly and professional development to bring new ideas and technologies into library services.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Library or Information Science by start date
* Ability to lift and move medium weight objects.
* Ability to handle material which can contain dust or microscopic mold spores.
A well-qualified candidate may also possess:
* Knowledge of academic library functions.
* Knowledge of open education principles, current trends in library services, and the state/national OER funding landscape.
* Familiarity with grant administration processes and higher‑education accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
* OEN certificate in Open Education
* SPARC Open Education leadership
* Creative Commons Certification
* Experience with special projects, event planning, or academic library outreach.
* Ability to use assessment tools such as Power BI or other relational database platforms.
