Extension Program Specialist - Shooting Sports

Position: Extension Program Specialist I - Shooting Sports
- Identifies, trains, and supports volunteers to enhance effective adult and/or youth education programs as appropriate for position.  
* Coordinates and hosts state/regional coaches training as needed.  
* Coordinates with District Specialists for district training as necessary.  
* Maintains accurate records for certified coaches.  
* Distributes certificates to certified coaches.
* Supports grant-seeking activities.
* Works cooperatively with industry and other external groups to advance organizational goals.
* Works with individuals, organizations, agencies and/or corporate entities to provide financial and in-kind support for Extension programming.  + Manages Texas 4-H Foundation accounts.  + Manages Agri Life Extension accounts.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Five years of related experience.
* Knowledge of word processing, databases, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
