Student Development Specialist II

MSC Programs engages students in experiences preparing them to be global leaders through providing campus programs and service opportunities. You may know of the Memorial Student Center as a building, but the MSC is also a department providing students with academic, cultural awareness and arts programs making the student experience at Texas A&M even better. Our vision is to partner with students to develop engaged and empowered citizens.

* Serves on department, division, or university committees and task forces as requested or assigned.
* Creates and submits reports and completes administrative processes, as determined by the department or division.
* Serves as a mandatory reporter and Campus Security Authority, and fulfills required reporting duties as determined by university, state, and/or federal requirements.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* One year of experience in student affairs work or related specialty.
* Demonstrated experience planning and organizing conferences, or other speaker events, for university student populations.
* Demonstrated experience advising, or supervising, freshmen, or first year experience, populations.
