Overview

The Department of Public Service and Administration in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for 2 temporary, part-time, non-tenure track faculty positions during the 2023-24 or 2024-25 academic year in its Extended Education online graduate programs. The anticipated start date is May 28, 2024, with the possibility of teaching in other fall, spring, and summer sessions.

Online Visiting Lecturers will teach credit-granting graduate courses in Advanced Nonprofit Management, Public Management, Public Service and Administration, or Homeland Security. These temporary positions are subject to budgetary availability, student enrollment needs, and program needs and demand.

The position is online and remote with Texas A&M University. The Department of Public Service and Administration is one of three departments in the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Additional information about the Bush School is available at Texas A&M University.

Qualifications
  • For visiting appointments as a Lecturer, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a closely related social science discipline, or a master’s level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach, and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or a related field, or have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting.
