The Texas A&M University Libraries are hiring an Assistant Librarian to be their new Preservation Librarian and play a key role in safeguarding the University Libraries’ general, special, and archival collections. In this preservation role, you’ll help maintain optimal collection conditions, monitor environmental and integrated pest management data, and actively participate in emergency planning and disaster response efforts. You’ll assess the condition of materials, identify potential risks, and recommend preservation solutions, all while supporting staff and student employees involved in book repair and enclosure creation.
The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site at our College Station campus. This is an in-person opportunity.
Salary: $62,900.00 annually
