OverviewThe Department of Economics invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning Fall 2026. The appointment is for one year with a teaching load of three courses per semester. Courses will be taught in-person at the Providence College campus.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeaching load of three courses per semester.
Successful candidates are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to effective and inclusive teaching with a diverse group of students.
Education and ExperienceA master’s degree in economics is required;
PhD or ABD is preferred.
We seek candidates with the ability to teach Microeconomics Principles and Macroeconomics Principles. Ability to teach other higher-level courses such as Sports Economics, Public Finance, and Labor Economics is also desirable.
