Job Description:

The Education Research Center is seeking a Program Coordinator I to play a key role in supporting the planning, development, and execution of assigned programs within the Center. This position will oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions, ensuring smooth coordination of activities and initiatives, particularly throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and ready to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on advancing educational research and program excellence.

Qualifications

Required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Duties/Tasks

Program Planning and Implementation:

  • Plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops.
  • Coordinates program communications and marketing.
  • Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings.

Program Coordination and Support:

  • Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events.
  • Compiles program statistics.
  • Maintains program records and databases.

Staff and Training Management:

  • May supervise program staff.
  • May develop and update training materials and deliver training sessions.

Funding and Resource Management:

  • Assists in identifying funding opportunities.
