Description

The College of Arts and Sciences and The Office of Undergraduate Studies on the College Station campus at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) position with a 9 month academic appointment with an additional summer appointment (August) contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning fall 2026. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor of Practice, Associate Professor of Practice, or Professor of Practice depending on qualifications.

Faculty in these positions will work in direct support of the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Corps of Cadets .

The successful candidates:

  • Will be significantly experienced leaders and management professionals, embedded within the TAMU Corps of Cadets, to teach various courses and participate actively in the integration of curriculum to the leader development of Cadets.
  • Will engage with undergraduate students in an academic approach of leadership and organizational behavior with the practical application realities of the TAMU Corps of Cadets.
  • Will be able to operate as part of an interdisciplinary program consisting of faculty and staff and undergraduate students from various backgrounds.

  • A master's degree in leadership, military/strategic studies, organizational behavior, education, or in a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in organization management within the military or corporate sectors.
  • Substantial teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Twenty plus years of extensive experience in organization management within the military or corporate sectors.
  • Three plus years of substantial teaching experience.
