Senior Transmission Engineer
Join Campos EPC as a key member of our engineering team! We are seeking an experienced Senior Transmission Engineer to contribute to the innovative engineering, design, and analysis of high voltage transmission lines. This exciting role involves the development of comprehensive project packages where your expertise can make a significant impact. This position is hybrid and can be based in Anaheim, San Diego, Houston, or College Station.
Key Responsibilities- Design and engineer high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines utilizing PLS-CADD software.
- Create detailed construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
- Perform in-depth analysis to ensure reliability and efficiency of transmission systems.
- Provide field support during construction to ensure project success.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work, applying independent judgment in selecting and adapting engineering techniques and criteria.
- Engage in complex engineering practices that may involve various challenging features.
- Coordinate departmental and divisional project studies, including reporting requirements.
- Develop innovative approaches to overcome engineering challenges.
- Ensure adherence to codes and standards while delivering effective and creative solutions.
- Manage Transmission Line encroachments and conduct routine analyses for ROW Assurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Transmission Engineering.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD is required.
- FE or PE certification is preferred.
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 annually based on experience.
